 For Reading we had to make something that we think needs to be in Christchurch Me and Maia made a shelter for the homeless and if something bad happend like an earthquake we could also stay here,

 For writing this week We had to make a news article  about something that might be happening in the school or something that happend in the community or in Christchurch. I wrote mine about a game called Pa wars it's a new game that our teacher made. I really enjoyed writing and playing this.

Statistical Investigation

 For Maths this Week we are doing a Statistical Investigation We had to chose a question and you had to ask people about your question My question was How often do you speak te reo?

We also had more than one goal for this task here they are:

complete a statistical investigation by collecting, displaying and discussing datadetermine appropriate variables and data collection methods. choose an appropriate data display.analyse a data sample.use a database (spreadsheet) to collect and organise data.evaluate findings and form conclusions.

Super Fun Math Task

Our goal for Maths this week is to:

Communicate and interpret locations and directions, using compass directions, distances, and grid references.

Our task was to go on this site called Google My Maps and find where Kaiapoi Pa was and then find Ōnawe Pa and figure out the most direct route. We had to find out the most fastest way to get to Ōnawe Pa from Kaiapoi Pa on the water and walking. I have also figured out the Co ordinates for both Pa's here they are. Kaiapoi Pa 43.225.5 172.392.E Ōnawe Pa 43.77.5

We read this book called keeping promise and then we had to make it in to our own words and highlight them it was about what lands and what the Maori did I really enjoyed learning about this and what the Maori did back and about the land.#
